Firstly, wash your face. I cannot stress how important that is every single day. Scrub it clean making sure there is no dirt on it – preferably with a cleaning lotion. You remove all the dead cells that clog up your pores.
Secondly, steam your face. Boil some water in a pan and wait until it’s not boiling hot. You don’t want to burn your skin while removing your blackheads. Cover your head with a towel and place your face over the lightly steaming bowl of water. This removes toxins from your skin and opens the pores so that the blackheads can be easily eliminated. You could add chamomile flowers to the water for its calming effects if you wish.
Thirdly, take around 4 spoons of baking soda and mix with a quarter cup of water. Gently massage this paste onto your blackheads and then apply to the rest of your face. Leave it to work for 10 minutes then rinse off with warm water.
Last, rinse your face with cold water. This ensures that your pores close up, not allowing dirt to accumulate. Now there you have it, an easy and natural way to be blackhead free.
